Hi, I’m Wren, a 3D Generalist / Creative & Technical Lead, located in the Bay Area. I’m an experienced lighter, compositor, designer, enthusiastic problem-solver, and I help companies execute successful global brand marketing campaigns. 

 

In 2015 I was hired by SGK SF, a brand experience company specializing in marketing and packaging. At the time they were mostly a photo-retouching studio and recognized the changing trends and the importance of offering 3D capability. My task was to help orchestrate digital transformation and form a 3D department that would service the world’s top brands and deliver unparalleled CG imagery indistinguishable from photography.

 

For the past 6 years, I’ve been leading and developing a CG team of highly talented 3D generalists, compositors, and tool writers. Together we produce hi-res photorealistic print marketing for the world's most coveted technology and luxury brands. 

 

As Lead 3D Creative, I’m personally responsible for generating an extensive portion of the work and throughput the department makes using Maya, Vray, Keyshot, Nuke, Photoshop, and other various applications. The projects I work on can be seen globally in stores, on billboards, signage, bus ads, and various other ad buys.

 

Additionally, I direct and collaborate with a bullpen of 10+ other CG artists. I strategize with producers and department managers to identify and communicate the best path of execution ensuring our overall success and ability to deliver projects on deadline.

 

In a technical capacity, I’ve established the 3D pipeline, custom settings, and workflows we use which have allowed us to be leaner, faster, and more competitive. I have conceptualized dozens of custom tools and settings my team leverages daily in order to optimize performance and minimize error. 

 

A majority of the work I do these days is under Strict NDA and cannot be shared or discussed. I have an extensive portfolio of photorealistic hardware and can provide more recent samples of work not showcased on my website if requested.
